Captain Ron
Capt Ron was born and raised in Sunny Southern California. Married to a Bermudian…there was no choice but to relocate his family to the tiny islands of Bermuda to test the waters for one year. Well…that one year has turned to over tweleve years. The islands have that effect on you.
Given the name of Tourist Whisperer by his wife, Capt Ron spends the majority of his days (during Tourist Season) helping tourist find their way…and staying clear of the local tourist traps. The goal was to make sure that Tourist and Travelers, visit and see the island as a local would.

When traveling, Capt Ron has the same mindset. Renting homes in lieu of being trapped in a resort and hanging with the locals in order to take everything in as a local would.
Capt Ron now has friends from California to Hawaii to Spain to Bali to Australia to South Africa, just to name a few spots around the world. Due to this love of travel, the Tourist Whisperer Podcast was created.

When Capt Ron is not traveling or sitting in front of a microphone in Studio 32/64, he spends his work hours in the Island Insurance Industry, off hours as a Philanthropist raising money for a local Cancer Centre, sitting on the beach or a tiki bar enjoying a rum and a few tacos – or just strumming his ukulele in a hammock somewhere under a palm tree.
